Many storm chasers stay away from Dixie Alley due to numerous extreme challenges, here we take them head on with the right ride for the job.
Building and maintaining a tornado tank is no easy task, but we are ready to accept that challenge with open arms.
Part of our mission is to spread the word of our storm chasing efforts to our community and across the country.
We are committed to informing the public of the dangers of tornadoes and severe weather to all demographics.
The area known as Dixie Alley (Which extends from Arkansas to Tennessee) is known for producing many tornadoes like Tornado Alley, however, Dixie Alley is known for its uneven hilly terrain, collections of large trees, high precipitation, and rain-wrapped tornadoes which makes storm chasing exceptionally dangerous and requires the best foresight and expertise to stay out of harms way. With a tank it can withstand winds from an EF0 (65-85 MPH) to EF2 (111-135 MPH) and take ballistic strikes (such as lumber) that easily pierce the wall of a building or a car door. On top of that the tank can lower itself to the ground and anchor down compared to standard cars. That’s why we use a tank.
